The weather and course was perfect. Everyone had a good time (some more than others) and no major injuries were reported. Bonus!
MBAA Races - McDowell Meltdown Update
Bryon Vahjen dominated his first ever mountain bike race in the CAT 3 Men 19-29 with a time of 1:00:08. Pete 'The Professor' and Scotty Mac were cheering for people at the "Chunnel" when Bryon came flying by. By the second lap, the number 2 guy was a good 30 seconds behind. Way to go, Bryon! Both George Hackett , Brad 'Dirt Monkey' Harris, and Brain put on good races in their respective classes.
The MBAA White Tank Whrilwind is the weekend of January 30-31st. Come out and race, or have a beer and watch everyone else race, or both! Check the schedule(calendar) page for a list of all the upcoming MBAA races. Missing Link will be at all the races and drinking post-race beer provided by either Four Peaks or Lucky Lou's.
Black Canyon Trail
We had a great ride on Sunday, December 27th on the Black Canyon Trail. Seven of us (Ray,Pete,ScottyMac,Rick,Kathy,Dave, and Steve started at Rock Springs and rode the northern portion of the trail towards Bumble Bee. A lot of new single track with some dirt road connecting the new trails. You missed a great ride if you weren't there.
